South Moroccan Freewheelin' where the mountains meet the sand

Freewheelin’ along the ancient goat paths that are our temporary home, we approach the south part of the magnificent Atlas Mountains. It’s the place where the cool alpine air meets that of the arid desert.
In the valleys of this historic land, strewn with relics of times gone by, the Kasbahs and its tribes of nomads, we find ourselves on our bikes, letting rip.

South Moroccan Freewheelin’ is a great getaway destination from northern Europe, nearly all year round. Get some summer sun – In the spring and autumn!

MARRAKECH - TOUNDOUT
Build bikes and ride a nice rolling trail from Ghessat towards the valley of Toundout.

TOUNDOUT - BOUTGHRAR - AIT YUL
Climbing gently yowards the desert, the landscape between the valleys and villages slowly changes. We will ride great singletrack in the ancient gorges.

DADES - TAGMOUT
With almond and apricot fields all around we progress along our way. We ride below cliffs of Djebel Sagroh gazing all around at the snow capped Atlas Range. Nice downhill to the village of Tagmout.

TAGMOUT - TANSIKHT 
Through the gorges, valleys and harsh mountain landscape we ride, along trails rarely used by man. At the end of the day we decend to the palm tree oasis of Draa

TANSIKHT - TISSERGATE
A nice long ride along the rider side. Magnificient Kasbahs all around, one of which will be our accomodation for the night!

TISSERGATE - MARRAKECH 
The last pedal strokes of the trip take us down the gorges upto the Tinifift mountain pass where on the other side we'll meet our transfer back to Marrakech.
